Building Inspection announces latest improvements

As part of the overhaul of the County’s development-related services, Building Inspection is improving key services.? ?“By offering more permitting services, we are delivering what our customers have asked for,” said Steve Pedretti, Deputy Administrator of Development Services. “While business is down, we’re taking this opportunity to retool and improve our processes.”

• Obtain applications for Building Permits at http://www.bldginspection.org/
• Contractors will soon be able to submit and purchase simple building permits online. These permits will be emailed back to the applicant.
• Express Counter Services at 4101 Branch Center Road 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
• Process less complex permits such as water heaters, electrical service panels, and heating and? cooling system replacements or reroof projects.
• “Frequent flyers” can pick-up or submit plans for corrections quickly
